This stunning
room is dominated by the wooden floor which is printed with a
Georgian map of London. The River Thames weaves its way across
the printed floor leading you through the room and into the rest
of the flat.
This Georgian map was engraved in 1739 and printed by Christopher
Chanond onto wooden floor tiles using a revolutionary new product
developed by us called DecoPrint™. (see products)
The curved wall designed to create space for a bathroom and
study is turned into a handsome bookcase.
Fitted squares of mirror eitherside of the fireplace gives a
sense of light and space. A large French gilded mirror and mirrored
console mimic the affect on the opposing walls.
The colour scheme is set by the floor and developed in the wallpaper,
bookcase and furniture.
The ottoman and lampshade made from horsehair inject colour and
warmth.
